Deven is a professional at “holding down the fort”. She always finds a way to keep her cool and provide excellent customer service, even on the most hectic afternoons! Deven greets all of our patients with such genuine compassion, her sweet love for all animals is a special characteristic that we value in her.
Deven has two young kiddos and could not be a prouder mamma! In her spare time she relishes in a relaxing cup of coffee, fun book and cooking new recipes. Deven also enjoys the beautiful scenery of our great state, especially the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Wellness Plan Manager/Receptionist. Elisa is our Wellness Plan Queen! Elisa makes sure that our Wellness Plan Program runs smoothly and provides great attention to detail for all of our current Wellness Plan pets. Elisa is the proud mother of two very accomplished children, both of whom are currently attending college. Elisa and her husband share their home with their sweet girl Sydney. Sydney is an energetic lab that is truly their third child!

Ashley has a passion for all creatures – her favorite being penguins! Ashley graduated with her Associate Degree in Zoo Science in 2016 and continues to enjoy volunteer work at the Greensboro Natural Science Center. She has a special interest in animal behavior and enjoys working with our patients to help build a trusting relationship. Ashley lives an active lifestyle and enjoys snowboarding and hiking with her young son – who also has a strong interest in all creatures (especially the creepy crawly type!).

Samantha has a fantastic energy and enthusiasm for her job. Samantha is a triad native, growing up in Lexington and graduating from Salem Baptist. Sam completed her training at Nanhal Grooming School in Greensboro in June 2015, making her a professional groomer. Sam enjoys grooming all dogs from enormous Newfoundlands to pint sized Yorkies. Sam works hard to stay fit and enjoys working out, she is definitely our heavy lifter when we need it! Sam shares her home and heart with the cutest little furry beast, Tux.

Crystal moved to North Carolina with her husband in April 2015 and they absolutely love it here! Crystal has been working in veterinary medicine as an assistant for over 9 years and is fantastic at what she does. We are so glad to have her as part of our team and even more thankful for her amazing baking skills! When Crystal is not exploring the outdoors with her husband she is often in the kitchen cooking up some super sweet treats!

Jessica is a gem that has been trained in all areas of our hospital but her main focus is as a veterinary assistant. Her positive attitude and infectious laugh make her a welcome ray of sunshine – especially on long days! Jessica graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Biotechnology in December 2015. She was born into an animal-loving family so her love for animals comes naturally. She currently has two awesome dogs but grew up with quite the zoo including horses, turkeys and an iguana!

Ethan is a brave man working with so many ladies! He has a natural calm and is wonderful with the animals. Ethan loves cooking (and eating!) as well as taking trips to the mountains. Ethan’s pride and joy is a little lady dog name Ripley. He loves spending time with her as well as his family and friends. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys studying film and psychology and is a huge comic book aficionado.

Ansley brought her beautiful smile, quirky sense of humor and fantastic technician skills to Hillsdale Animal Hospital in 2016. Ansley got her foot in the veterinary door starting at the age of 15, working at her uncle's veterinary clinic. She has fallen in love with the profession and has a true passion for providing excellent care to all of our patients.
Ansley is thankful for her personal bodyguard German Shepherd, Abby, and her husband who is the king of their kitchen and an excellent cook. Ansley and her husband married in 2017 and love vacationing at the beach.

Caleb’s bright personality brings a refreshing sense of fun and flare to Hillsdale Animal Hospital. Caleb has been grooming pets since 2014 and loves sending them home with a fresh new look. He takes great care in ensuring that pets are always comfortable and worry-free when they are in his care.
His gentle nature and compassion also make him a great addition to our medical team as a kennel assistant providing care for our boarding and hospitalized pets. Caleb is the proud pet parent of a blue heeler/pit bull mix named Oreo – who is the best dog except when he is chasing cats! When Caleb is not working hard at the clinic, he takes pride in supporting local LGBT events – a community that is close to his heart.
